The Yo-Zuri 3DS Minnow is a saltwater jerkbait. It is the type of lure you throw when the fish are feeding on small fry and are turning their nose up to anything you offer. It’s small profile and life-like features are the perfect imitation to initiate a hungry strike.

When retrieved at a steady rate, the 3DS Minnow has a tight wobble and flash that looks very real. This can also be twitched or jerked to imitate a dying fish very well. Because it is fairly buoyant, we recommend letting it float back to the surface after each jerk to properly imitate a fish trying to get back down in the water.

The Hardware

The 3DS Minnow is sporting some really impressive hardware for a lure in its price range. Other lures that cost a similar amount tend to rust out quickly or look cheap. The 3DS Minnow looks like it costs $15, but actually costs about half that.

One look at this lure and the first thing you will probably notice is the gorgeous looking eyes. These add a very nice, surprisingly life-like detail.

The lip is fully molded to the body, so don’t worry about it breaking off or changing position.

The small details in the body are what really brings this all together, from the fins to the small scales.

Hooks are one of the most important aspects of a lures design, and the 3DS Minnow does not disappoint. It comes with some seriously sharp, corrosion resistant, small profile hooks.
